Acceleration due to gravity is independent of mass, but the force is not. Determine the final velocity of the following objects and the force generated by the same objects as they are dropped from the given heights.

10 kg 2.5 meters
7 kg 5.5 meters
0.5 kg 12 meters
0.7 kg 5 meters

You can easily figure out the velocity of each. It has nothing to do with the mass.

(1/2) m v^2 = m g h
note m cancels

v = sqrt (2gh)
so for example for 2.5 meters
v = sqrt (2* 9.81*2.5) = 7 meters/second

--------------------------
The only force here is gravity itself
F = m g
so now the height has noting to do with it
for example for 10 kg
F = 10 * 9.81 = 98.1 Newtons
