Point G is located at 3,-1 and point H is located at -2,3. Find the x value for the point that is 2 over 3 the distance from the point G to point H.
from G to H x goes from 3 to -2 or -5
easier for me to go (1/3) of 5 from H to G
so
-2 + 5/3
which is
-6/3 + 5/3
or
x = -1/3
It would really help you if you sketched these points on a graph, or at least the x values on a number line.
