1. Recite the reading text out loud.
2. Remember the reading text and tell the reading text to your friends out loud,
3. Say what you have memorized loudly.
4. Tell the reading text in front of the class.

(Which ones are grammatical? They have to recall the reading text and say it in front of the class.)

    #1 is the best. "Recite" is a very specific verb: to speak a long or short text aloud.

    #s 2, 3, and 4 communicate the same idea, but they are not smoothly phrased.
