5. What is the net force acting on the object below? (1 point)

its two 5N arrows pushing a block to the right, like this
5N
-----> and the block is here
5N
-----> and the block is here

0 N
5 N
10 N
25 N

do u multiply, add or what???

1.A billboard

2.First speed increases then is decreases
3.true
4.the box will move to the right
5.10n

i thought so... that was my guess if it was 10

If you have two 5 Newton forces pushing a block to the right, that is a total of 10 Newtons pushing to the right.

There may also be a moment due to the forces, but that is not part of the question.

You can add the magnitudes of forces if they are in the same direction. However watch out. You can not just add them if they are not in exactly the same direction.

4. If the net force acting on a wooden object is 0 N, the shape of the object (1 point)

will not change.***
changes permanently.
changes temporarily.
reacts to unbalanced forces.

An example of a net force of zero could be a squeeze between your fingers. If you squeezed hard enough I suppose you could split the wood. However I would tend under reasonable conditions to agree with your answer. If it had said a rubber, I would have said you could stretch it with a force to the left balanced by a force to the right and certainly changing its shape.

thx it was right!:)
