Find an equation in standard form of the line passing through the points (8, 5) and (6, 2).

math
Henry
(8,5), (6,2)
m = (2(5))/(68) = 7/14 = 1/2.
Y = mx + b = 5
(1/2)*8 + b = 5
b = 5 + 4 = 1
Y = (1/2)x 1
Y = x/2  1
Multiply both sides by 2:
2y = x  2
X + 2Y = 2
