Taylor's front porch is rectangular. The length is 3 feet more than the width. The perimeter of the porch is 14 feet. What is the width of the porch?

    L = (w+3)

    L + w = 14/2 = 7

    (w+3) + w = 7

    2 w = 4

    etc
