acceleration = change in velocity/change in time
= (900)/(8.82/3600) = 36735 miles/hour^2
It accelerates that way for 8.82/3600 = .00245 hours
distance = (1/2) a t^2
= .5 * (36735)(.00245)^2
= .11 miles
if you want feet
.11 miles (5280 feet/mile) = 582 feet
