1. Why is California’s high-speed rail such a groundbreaking effort?

2. Why will it take so long to complete the high-speed rail route?

3.Should other states wait to see if the high-speed rail system works well before starting their own plans for similar systems?

Could you explain this?

this is just to help some kids learn facts

1. A high speed route will greatly speed travel between may major California cities. Trains are more efficient and environmentally sound than driving or flying.

2. New tracks must be laid and overpasses built to separate road and rail traffic.

The California high-speed rail is such a groundbreaking effort because it helps with the environment and makes it cleaner. It also connects mega-regions to contribute to the economic development and helps create jobs and protects agriculture. Sadly, it will take so long to complete because the transportation systems are aging and can't continue to keep up with the demands of the population. I think that it would be a good idea to test these rails because if something were to go wrong without having tested it, problems will arise and it wouldn't be good outcome.
