Steps:
1. Get the volume of the sphere (baseball). You re given the diameter, and you can get the radius by dividing this by 2. You are also given the formula:
V,sphere = 4/3 * π * r^3
Just substitute the value of radius to get V.
2. Divide the given mass by volume to get density of sphere:
d = m/V
3. Compare the density of sphere to density of water (which is 1 g/cm^3). If density of sphere is greater than density of water, it will sink. Otherwise, it'll float.
