Find the equation of the line with y intercept 2 and perpendicular to the line y = 2/3x -4

  • Algebra -

    so you want the equation of the line

    y=-3/2 x + b
    intercept is when x is zero, so b=2

  • Algebra -

    so it would not be a -b? so it would be 3/2x + 2?

  • Algebra -

    2 = -3/2(0) + b

    2 = b

    y = mx + b

    y = -3/2x + 2
