I know you told me to not post a rough draft, but I am struggling to write my first paragraph. I do not know if this even relates to the first theme of geography, which is location. Ms. Sue, please, although I haven't even complete this paragraph yet, could you assist me in any matter possible?

"Discovered by Europeans in 1528, the Appalachian Mountains are a chain of mountains located in the eastern United States and Canada. Forming a zone from 100 to 300 miles, it runs across the North American continent from Alabama in the south to Newfoundland in the north. Due to its location, the Appalachian Mountains also cover many notorious states and provinces, such as Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire. In addition, this list includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Nova Scotia, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, and Alabama."

You were supposed to write about a city. I suggested Chicago. I won't be able to help you if you choose a different city.

The Appalachians are not a city.
