A projectile is fired off a 35m cliff at 18m/s. what horizontal distance does the projectile travel before hitting the ground?

  • Physics -

    h = 0.5g*t^2 = 35 m.
    4.9t^2 = 35
    t^2 = 7.143
    Tf = 2.673 s. = Fall time.

    D = Xo * Tf = 18m/s * 2.673s = 48.11 m.
