I have looked and looked for 4 examples of a standalone computer but I have only found two. They are a fax machine, and TiVo box.

Could someone please tell me what two more examples are?

a desktop or laptop or tablet that is NOT connected to a network of any kind

a PSC (all-in-one)

Certainly! I can provide you with two more examples of standalone computers.

1. Personal Computer (PC): A personal computer is a common example of a standalone computer. It is designed for individual use and typically consists of a tower or desktop unit that includes all the necessary components, such as a motherboard, processor, memory, storage, and input/output devices like a keyboard and mouse. A PC can be used for various purposes, including office work, gaming, browsing the internet, and more.

2. Laptop: A laptop, also known as a notebook, is another example of a standalone computer. It is portable and designed to be used on the go. Laptops integrate all the components of a computer into a single unit, including the display, keyboard, trackpad, speakers, and a battery. They often provide a similar level of functionality as a desktop PC but offer the added benefit of mobility.

To find these examples, you can start by considering common electronic devices that have built-in computing capabilities. The key is to look for devices that are capable of performing various computational tasks without requiring external connections or dependencies. By exploring the functions and capabilities of different electronic devices, you can identify standalone computers.
