Lisa runs 6 miles in 55 minutes, at the same rate, how many miles would she have ran in 44 minutes?

  • math -

    One way to solve this is with a proportion. Cross multiply and solve for x.

    6/55 = x/44

    55x = 264

    x = 4.8 miles
