A bullet is fired in a horizontal direction with a muzzle velocity of 300m/s.in the absence of air resistance,how far will it have droppped in travelling a horizontal distance of 20m.

    time=distance/velocity=20/300 sec

    how far did it drop?
    distance=1/2 g time^2
