Calculate the current in the 240-Ώ filament of a bulb connected to a 120-V line.

Power = IV

    so what if P = EI?
    I = E/R = 120/240 = ...

    current =voltage/resistance = 120v/240 ohms = 0.5A

    Not sure if it is correct but trying to understand it
