a 1000 kg car with an average power of 100 kw accelerates from 0 to 50 m/s. how long does it take to accomplish this

    Work= W=ΔKE= mv²/2
    Power= P=W /t = mv²/2t
    t= mv²/2P = 1000•50²/2•100000 =
    =12.5 s.
