Solve the Equations
142=58-7x
2x+96=-44-3x
-26=-7x+4(2x-4)
7x+5(-4x-4)=-124
-7x-35=28
10x+36=-108-2x

• Math -

142=58-7x
Add 7x to each side
7x+142=58-7x+7x
7x+142=58
Now subtract 142 from each side to isolate x
7x+142-142=58-142
7x=-84
Divide by 7 to find x
7x/7 = -84/7
x = -12

Now you should be able to try the remaining problems the same way as above and post your answers for checking.
