Nora had 20% fewer pictures than Maria. After Nora gave 12 pictures to Maria, she had half as many pictures as Maria. How many pictures did Nora have at first?

    n-12 = .5(m+12)

    Nora had 48
    Maria had 60
    Later, Nora had 36 and Maria had 72
