how many turn around points are in the function f(x)=(x-1/3)^2(x-2)^3

  • algebra -

    f(x) has two roots
it touches the x-axis at x = 1/3, so that's one turning point.
It turns again so it can cross the x-axis at x=2

    so, 2 turning points
