Suppose a third world country in the last five years is now expanding their Internet access. If they went from 2.5% of their citizens having access to the Internet to 7.5% now having access, calculate the following:

a) How many percentage points did they increase in access?

b) By what percent did Internet access increase after the five years?

  • MATH -

    a. 7.5%-2.5% = 5%.

    b. 5%/2.5% = 2. = 200%.
