a number cube is rolled 2 times in a row. what is the probability of rolling a number greater than 2 both times?

  • algebra -

    Greater than 2 = 3, 4, 5 or 6.

    One toss = 4/6 = 2/3

If the events are independent, the probability of both/all events occurring is determined by multiplying the probabilities of the individual events.
