Given f(x)= 2x^2 – 1 and g(x) = –2x + 1, find the following.
f(3) − g(3)

  • Algebra -

    f(3) - g(3)
    = 2(3^2) - 1 - (-2(3) + 1)
    = 18-1 - (-5)
    = 23
