If A and B are two friends and sold tickets for Rs. 3800. If A sold 11/8 times as that by B, how much did each of them sell.

Not clear whether you mean 11/8 (eleven eighths) or
1 1/8 (one and oneeighth)?
B + 11/8B = 3800
Solve for B then A.
