a helicopter is flying at an altitude of 1000 m above the ground, with a horizontal velocity of 50 m/s, how far from the rally point should the relief package be dropped?

    0 + 4.9t^2 = 1000
    t^2 = 204.08
    t = 14.3 s. = Fall time.

    D = 50m/s * 14.3s = 714.3 m.
