A 3 cm flower is placed 40 cm from a converging lens with a focal length of 15 cm. What are the orientation, size and type of the image?

    f- focal lenth
    1/d₀ +1/d₁ =1/f,
    1/d₁ =1/f - 1/d₀ =
    = (d₀-f)/ d₀•f,
    d₁=d₀•f/(d₀-f)=
    =0.4•0.15/(0.4-0.15)=0.24 m,

    0.03/0.4 =h/ d₁ ,
    h= d₁•0.03/0.4=0.24•0.03/0.4=0.018 m
