how to find the speed of a bullet just before it touches the ground when fired horizontally at a velocity 10 m/s from a watch tower 11.5 m high?

well, how long does it take to drop 11.5m?
v = 9.8t
The horizontal velocity makes no difference, unless you care how far it goes.
