A friend of mine was selling the lumber from his old barn to be repurposed. Knowing that I liked old wood, he set aside a board totaling 12 feet in length for me. I want to cut it to form a rectangular frame for a mirror. What should the dimensions be to provide the largest area?
how many cuts allowed? If you cut it into 1" strips you can make quite a large frame.
