Every time Mr. Cold born throws a ball of paper in the garbage can, the probability the ball goes in the cans is 3/4. What is the probability he misses 2 times in a row?

Please show all work. Please help I don't understand probability

    prob of miss = 1/4
    so prob( miss , then miss) = (1/4)(1/4) = 1/16

  • Math -

    If the events are independent, the probability of both/all events occurring is determined by multiplying the probabilities of the individual events.

    (1-3/4)(1-3/4) = ?
