How far does the tip of the minute hand of a clock move in 100 minutes if the hand is 3.3 inches long?

circumference = 2(3.3)π = 6.6π inches
Two interpretations for "how far does the tip ... move"
distance relative to its original position, it would be in the same place where it was 40 minutes ago
= (40/60)(6.6π) = (2/3)(6.6π) = 4.4π inches along the arc length
If you mean , one rotation + 2/3 of another (from 100 minutes)
distance = (5/3)(6.6π) = 11π inches
