A basket contains 5 green lollipops, 12 red lollipops, and 7 orange lollipops. When a lollipop is taken from the basket, it is not replaced. What is P(orange, then orange)?

I know the answer. It's 42/552.

But HOW do I figure this out? I can do the first p(orange) but if it's not replaced, how do I do I figure out orange again? Thanks!

Total=24 p(orange, then orange)=7/24*6/23 =42/552 this is bcus the no of orange is 7 & when one of it is taking out 6 will remain & the total no will reduce to 23.

the answer is 42/552

no this is 8th grade math im in 8th grade and this is what were learning

11/24 10/23

its a simplified version of 42/552

Why did I get 7/92 lol

ummmmmmmmmmmm. Haha jkjk. I know the answer, but think about it... what is the point of school, if you ask someone else to do it.... Oh, and by the way, this isn't 8th grade math!
