directions Write a system of inequalities for the shaded region described. The shaded region is a rectangle with vertices at (2,1)(2,4)(6,4)

• algebra -

A rectangle with three verticies?

• algebra -

I will assume the last corner is (6,1)

Now, is x,y allowed inside the rectangle, or outside. It is somewhat important.

• algebra -

whoops its supposed to be (2,1)(2,4)(6,4)(6,1)

• algebra -

not sure dosent really say

• algebra -

its allowed in the inside

• algebra -

then x cannot be less than 2, or greater than 6
and y cannot be less than 1, nor greater than 4

• algebra -

thank you for the help :)
