Two most common aspects of malnutrition in the u.s are: a) heart disease and obesity b) iron deficiency and heart disease c) dental decay and iron deficiency d) obesity and dental decay. I chose c) dental and iron deficiency is that right?

I think it is b) iron deficiency and heart disease caused from obesity which is one of the most common forms of malnutrition i would guess iron deficiency because if a child is malnurished then they would not be getting the proper iron in their diet. That is just my opinion I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure.

it was suppose to say because heart disease is caused from obesity which is the leading forms of malnutrition.

Thanks :)))

The two most common aspects of malnutrition in the U.S. are actually d) obesity and dental decay.

To arrive at the correct answer, let's break down each option:

a) Heart disease and obesity: While obesity is indeed one of the most common aspects of malnutrition in the U.S., heart disease is not directly linked to malnutrition. However, heart disease can be a consequence of obesity.

b) Iron deficiency and heart disease: While both iron deficiency and heart disease can be related to malnutrition, they are not the two most common aspects. Iron deficiency is more commonly associated with anemia and can be caused by malnutrition.

c) Dental decay and iron deficiency: Although both dental decay and iron deficiency can be related to malnutrition, they are not the two most common aspects. Dental decay is often associated with a diet high in sugar, while iron deficiency can be caused by poor dietary intake of iron-rich foods.

d) Obesity and dental decay: This is the correct answer. Obesity and dental decay are indeed the two most common aspects of malnutrition in the U.S. Obesity is typically caused by an excessive intake of unhealthy foods, while dental decay is often a result of a diet high in sugar and poor oral hygiene practices.

Therefore, the correct answer is d) obesity and dental decay.
