How do I find the number of particles in 1 pound of NH3(Ammonia)?

1 lb of NH3 is 455 grams (approximately--You can get a more accurate number if you want to calculate it)--I think 454.59 grams.

Then 1 mol NH3 (that's 17 grams) will contain 6.02E23 molecules.

I don't know what course this is but NH3 is a weak base and it ionizes when in solution, but only by about 1%. However, you can calculate the number of ions in that solution, add those to the number you've calculated previously, and subtract half that number from the total.
