4.25 + 5.75 = 10 what kind of math are you doin because I might have done that incorrectly.
2/3 + 3/4 = 8/12 + 9/12 = 17/12
3/4 + 2/5 = 15/20 + 8/20 = 23/20
so, you have
3*17/12 + 5*23/20 = 51/12 + 115/20
= 255/60 + 345/60 = 600/60 = 10
