treated in the 1960s. Especially in the book written by Khaled Hosseini
called "A Thousand Splendid Suns" where it shows readers how men treat
women in societies that are patriarchal and how they take the word of
men more seriously then women in their societies. Khaled Hosseini's
novel shows how unfair women are treated in society that are controlled
by men. Hosseini's work lets the reader know that in this planet there
are men that think this world is cut out for men and not women.
