How many distinct numbers greater and equal to 100 and smaller than 3000 can be formed using digits 0,1,2,3,4, without repetition of digits?

  • Math -

    number of 3 digit numbers , must start with 1,2,3,or4
    =4x4x3 = 48

    number of 4 digit numbers ,must start with 1 or 2
    = 2x4x3x2 = 48

    total = 96
