2 2/3 + 7 3/4=
rename or simplify as needed, I need to show how I got this answer
HELP PLEASE

2 2/3 + 7 3/4=
2 8/12 + 7 9/12 = 9 17/12 = 10 5/12
how did you get 10 5/12? That is where I don't understand it

12/12 = 1
12 + 5 = 17
9 17/12 is more than 9.
17 / 12 = 1 5/12
isn't it 10 5/12?

Yes. The answer is 10 5/12

OK Thank you again Ms. Sue :)

You're welcome, Jared.
