I have rabbits abd chickens. Between them, I count 35 heads. How many rabbits and how many chickens do I have?

  • math -

35 altogether. each has one head.

  • math -

If you start with 98 legs and have 35 heads. You would have 14 rabbits with 56 feet. 98 total legs minus 56 for the rabbits equal 42 feet left. Divide 42 by 2 legs for each bird equal 21 birds. 14 rabbits and 21 birds equal 35 heads with 98 total feet.
