Can you explain to me what this means:

"First thoughts are also unencumbered by ego, by that mechanism in us that tries to be in control, tries to prove the world is permanent and solid, enduring and logical."

    Have you ever taken a test, answered some of the questions, and then gone back and changed a few ... and then found out later that your first answers were right?

    "First thoughts ... " -- the ones you have without all your individual experiences and biases making you question yourself!
