I did +3y
2x=6+3y
1/2 to both sides(2x=3y/2+6)
x=3/2y+6
or does the 1/2 go under the hole equation 0f3/2y+6 making the answer
x=3/2y+3

assuming you were solving for x
from
2x = 3y + 6
divide each term by 2 to get
x = (3/2)y + 3 or x = (3y+6/)2
