if you buy 30 apple for 47 dollars how much does 1 apple cost

    47/30 = $1.57 each

    if 30apples = $47
    then 1 apple = x

    cross mutilpy and you get 30x=$47
    divide each side by 30

    x=1.56666666

    rounded to $1.57 per apple.
