find the force exerted by proton and the electron in a hydrogen atom they are 5.0 X 10^-19 coulomb

    Those are not the correct electron and proton charges. Look them up. They are +e and -e. You will need the proton-electron separation to do the problem. Assume the first Bohr orbit. Use Coulomb's Law.
