if carbon 14 has a half life of 24 days how much would be left of 220 gram sample after 168 days

x = Xi e^kt
1/2 = e^24 k
ln .5 = 24 k
.693 = 24 k
k = .0289
so
x = 220 e^.0289*168
= 220 * .00779
= 1.71 grams
