Determine all local and global extrema of the function

f(x)=x(x−1)

    y'=2x-1
    y'=0 when x is .5
    at (.5,-.25) you have a local and global minimum.
    the global maximum would be infinity because the function is continuous on all real x and the parabola opens up.
