sort these numbers 5 10 16 19 24 37 40. describe sort rule

    since they appear already to be sorted in ascending order, I guess we're free to pick our own sort rule?

    How about sort by increasing digit value, right-to-left?

    10 40 24 5 16 37 19

    I think you must have left out some relevant information.
