1. Compare the effects of adding the strong acid & base to the pH of water vs. the acetate and phosphate buffers.

    You can work out the examples you choose. You know adding acid or base to a buffer changes the pH very little. Adding acid or base to water, even small amounts of them changes the pH bunches.
