    2.08 = 2 + .08 = two and 8 one-hundredths

    4.196 = 4 + 0.1 + 0.09 + 0.006 = four and one hundred ninety-six one-thousandths

    53.5 = 50 + 3 + 0.5 = fifty-three and five tenths

    0.6047 = 0.6 + 0.004 + 0.0007 = six thousand forty-seven ten-thousandths
