Would this make a good Jane Eyre theme statement? "Every person searches for love & home, but only few find it." If not, how can I change it? I need help!

CeCe, I agree with part of your statement but not the statement in its entirety. In Jane Eyre you have two people who some might say were destined to unite. Fate said that no matter what at some point these two would get together. Circumstance stood in the way for both of them and once those issues were dealt with (Rochester's previous marriage, Jane's social standing, etc.) they were reunited. I feel that somehow the issues that both of them had were lessons and once the lessons were taught (so-to-speak) fate stepped in and brought them back together all the stronger. No where in there do I find the part "...but only few find it" Hopefully I was helpful.
