Sorry guys but I cant seem to figure this out can you help me:)

Billy has 7 pears and Sally has 4 pears .
They have 11 pears all together
Hannah takes 1 pear from Billy and 1 pear from Sally . How many pears do they have all together now?

They would have 9. how old are you?

If you may know. I'm 37 and still in the 3rd grade I dropped out at 8 and now I have to finish school. my mom is making me .

To solve this problem, we can follow these steps:

1. Start with the total number of pears they have together, which is given as 11.
2. Subtract the number of pears Hannah took, which is 1 each from Billy and Sally.
- Hannah took 1 pear from Billy: 11 - 1 = 10 pears now.
- Hannah also took 1 pear from Sally: 10 - 1 = 9 pears now.

Therefore, they have a total of 9 pears altogether after Hannah takes 1 pear from both Billy and Sally.
